Welcome to Jeong's World Taekwondo Academy in Ridgefield, CT. We welcome new students of all ages through our special trial programs, giving everyone the opportunity to experience the excitement and benefits of training like a champion. Through Taekwondo, we help students reach their full potential—building the confidence, discipline, and resilience that carry into school, home, and everyday life.

Our academy is led by Head Master Woo Yeol Jeong, a 6th Degree Black Belt who holds a degree in Taekwondo from Kyung Hee University in South Korea, with graduate studies completed at Dongguk University in Physical Education. With more than 30 years of Taekwondo experience and 16 years as a competitive sparring athlete, Master Jeong brings a wealth of knowledge and firsthand expertise—offering not only technical instruction but also the discipline, confidence, and perseverance that are at the heart of Taekwondo.
