Master Jeong is the Head Master and owner of Jeong's World Taekwondo Academy in Ridgefield, CT. He is a 6th Degree Black Belt and holds a degree in Taekwondo from Kyung Hee University in South Korea, with graduate studies completed at Dongguk University in Physical Education. With more than 30 years of Taekwondo experience and 16 years as a competitive sparring athlete, Master Jeong brings a wealth of knowledge and firsthand expertise to his students. His background allows him to provide not only technical instruction but also the discipline, confidence, and perseverance that are at the heart of Taekwondo.

We offer classes for all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are tailored to different skill levels and goals.
No prior experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced martial artists looking to refine their skills.
Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first class. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you on getting a uniform and gear.
We recommend attending at least two classes per week for steady improvement, but you can train more frequently based on your goals.
We go beyond physical training to focus on building strong character.
